Key facts
- Weight 70 kg is from the Neobotix MP-400 data sheet (PDF dated 13 Apr 2023, neobotix-robots.com) and the hardware docs; the product page itself lists no weight. Data sheet also gives approx. 10 h uptime / 6 h charge time (not stored, see battery remark).
- Payload 100 kg standard, 150 kg with the high-payload option (modelled as a variant). Central differential drive with 150 mm drive wheels and castor wheels; ground clearance 44 mm; outer shell of glass-fibre-reinforced polymer with tool-less opening cover; shell gives protection against splashing water (no IP rating).
- Battery capacity is the nominal 24 V x 50 Ah = 1,200 Wh, a derived figure rather than a published one (voltage and Ah from the Neobotix hardware docs); battery_hours is left null (rule for all Neobotix platforms in the catalog: not stored from 'up to' wording) because the page gives 'up to 10 h or up to 8 km', a maximum rather than a typical runtime. Runtime and range are Neobotix's wording.
- Operating temperature 0 to +25 C is the 'environmental temperature' in the Absolute Maximum Ratings table of the hardware documentation; storage -20 to +60 C. No IP rating is published.
- Basic configuration (product page): 2 motors, 1 Sick S300 expert scanner, 24 V / 50 Ah sealed lead battery, wireless joystick, manual charger, on-board computer, ROS, documentation, CE declaration. Software: ROS 2 Start AMR (recommended) or ROS 2 Advance AMR (optional); PlatformPilot AMR control software is described for industrial use. Operating system and SDK are not stated.
- Max acceleration 2.4 m/s2; drive motors 300 W each, rated 0.95 Nm, peak 2.85 Nm (hardware docs, 'Electrical Properties'); laser scanner range 30 m, +-135 degrees. Expected working time 10 years (docs, 'Other Properties').
- Options: automatic charging station, i7 on-board computer, IOBoard, 1-day training in Heilbronn (up to 3 persons), Basic Support (3 months) and Extended Support (further 6 months). Standard, Research and Custom versions are offered. Launch year not stated.
- Optional quick battery change system and automatic charging station; the page calls the MP-400 the cheapest robot in its range, but gives no price.
