Key facts
- Spec sheet OTTO-DS001D-EN-APR2024 (fetched 2026-10-17): 1,200 kg (2,640 lb) payload, 623 mm load center, 1.5 m/s (3.3 mph), 2,841 x 1,201 x 2,155 mm, mass 2,521 kg, 1,150 mm wheelbase, turning radius 1,420 mm manual / 1,985 mm autonomous, gradeability under 1 degree (1.7%). Max pallet height 183 cm at 1,000 kg and 134 cm at 1,200 kg.
- Energy: 24 V lead-acid (375 Ah, swappable or opportunity charged, about 6 h from 10% to 90%) or 25.6 V lithium (270 Ah, autonomous 200 A supercharger, about 1 h from 10% to 90%). Battery Wh and runtime are not published, so null; battery_swappable left null because only the lead-acid option is described as swappable.
- Docking accuracy with target: +/-13 mm (X), +/-10 mm (Y), +/-1.0 degree yaw; pallet docking +/-50 mm. Accepted pallets: wood Grade A (CHEP, PECO, block, GMA), 1,016 x 1,219 mm and 1,143 x 1,219 mm, plus ORBIS HDMC 4845 collapsible containers.
- Launched 2022-03-24 (OTTO Motors press release, fetched), demonstrated at MODEX 2022. OTTO's marketing claims operation 'as low as $9 an hour' (Beverage Industry, 2022-05-10); that is an operating-cost claim, not a purchase price, so it is not a price entry.
- OTTO Motors was acquired by Rockwell Automation with Clearpath Robotics (completed 2023-10-02, per Rockwell's press release); the product page is now branded 'OTTO by Rockwell Automation'.
